Business Analyst - Hybrid - Deadline 02/02/26

Perform Business Analysis and the Requirements Gathering, to create relevant documentation (e.g. Business Requirements Document, Functional Specifications Documents, record and following requirements on JIRA, etc.) of Client’s IT solutions with preference to information systems of the EUAA Operational Support Centre (C1), including the Operational Deployment System (ODS), the Country Operations Platform (COP), the Digital Platforms and the Call for Expression of Interest (CEI) portal.

• Requirements gathering (organize meetings/workshops/interviews with Business Key Users, Business Experts, and other Stakeholders);

• Analysis of business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements;

• Business model analysis;

• Process analysis;

• Business processes modelling;

• Impact analysis;

• SWOT analysis;

• Gap analysis;

• Quality assurance;

• Troubleshooting;

• Produce/Update relevant documentation;

• Perform root-cause analysis;

• Streamline procedures and processes;   

• Support training sessions

Description of tasks:

Organize and lead workshops with stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned throughout the project lifecycle

Define, document, and communicate clear, detailed business and functional requirements.

Analyse existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and pinpoint areas for improvement

Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support informed decision-making and recommend actionable strategies for process optimization

Diagnose issues in existent systems to identify errors/deficiencies and draft requirements to resolve them

Create, maintain, and regularly update relevant documentation/requirements

Provide high-level (Level 2) support to end users, addressing tickets from the Service Desk that require more in-depth functional analysis and diagnosis

Create detailed business process models

Draft use cases and assist/execute user acceptance testing to ensure that the system developed meets the business requirements and is according to the specifications agreed to

Create low fidelity wireframes using wireframing design tool

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop wireframes and prototypes that align with business requirements. Ensure the user interface and user experience are optimized for end-users, facilitating effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders.

Review all software quality assurance (QA) activities with the QA Tester or project stakeholders to ensure the product meets the requirements and business needs.

Recommend and develop strategies to streamline workflows and improve overall business performance

Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams

Ensure that business requirements are appropriately captured in the IT systems such as JIRA and prioritized for Agile development cycles

Support the preparation and delivery of training sessions (for end users and for the new comers in the team).
