Business, Process and Data Analyst - Deadline 06/06/25

Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks: 

•     Minimum 12 years of experience in implementing data transformation projects with toolkit like Julia, Python, R and SQL, with a strong track record of deploying and maintaining such projects in a production environment.  

•     Deep (certified) knowledge of SSA integrated tools (Dataiku, JupyterLab, RStudio, Superset is an asset, etc), minimum 1 year of experience in using those and ability to train the advanced SSA users.

•     Minimum 10 years of experience with the techniques and tools in the field of data analysis and data visualization, such as Python, Pandas, matplotlib, but also Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Superset, etc.  

•     Minimum 5 years of experience in conducting end-to-end analytic solutions building projects in a professional setup, covering project stages such as exploratory analysis, data preparation, model development and model operationalization in a production environment. Hands on experience with NumPy and Scikit-Learn.  

•     Hands-on experience with the following tools or frameworks: NLTK, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace transformers, etc.

•     Minimum 1 year of experience with NLP techniques for semantic representation, similarity calculation and entity resolution. Hands-on expertise with Sentence Transformers is an asset.  

•     Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OVH or Google Cloud and containerization tools (e.g. Docker) for the deployment of DL and ML models and applications.

•     Strong expertise in data wrangling, cleaning and database design including both transactional processing and analytical processing within a data warehouse framework. Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark is desirable.  

•     Statistics and probability – deep knowledge of distributions and sampling techniques, hypothesis checking, statistical analysis, metrics and methods, etc.

•     Experience in using SMT, Confluence, JIRA, etc.

•     Eagerness to stay up to date with the AI industry evolution, with vendor product offerings and analytics technologies and increasing awareness of these into the organization.

•     Understanding of data governance, data quality and data protection principles.

•     Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to break down large and complex projects into structured and manageable tasks.

•     Experience in preparing and executing trainings for beginner or advanced users in topics related to advanced data analysis. 

•     Ability to give business and technical presentations to multiple stakeholders.

•     Strong communication skills and ability to synthetise complex information in clear in structured technical documents.

•     Capability to produce IT architecture documents related to advanced data analytics projects. 

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

•       Minimum 1 year of experience in the domain of Customs Safety and Security Analytics.

•       Knowledge of the ICS2 and SSA business processes, Common Repository data model, ability to contribute to the SSA IT components development from the day 1 – knowledge of the system architecture, integrated tools, security measures, developed customised solutions, etc.

•       Experience with multi-format data and multimodal analytical models. 

•       Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data analytics and contribute to innovative solutions. 

•       Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex SSA business problems into business cases obtainable to be solved by applying advanced analytics techniques; ability to translate the analytics outcomes into insights useful for the MS experts, also non-data analysts.

•       Expertise in addressing issues related to SSA tools, with experience in troubleshooting problems within the SSA infrastructure, as well as identifying and resolving system vulnerabilities.
