Job description
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect (Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture, Data Spaces) with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and data architecture, complemented by a strong background in product management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud service models, infrastructure automation, and hybrid and multi-cloud strategies. They should demonstrate proficiency in container orchestration, data space management, and disaster recovery planning. A strong emphasis on cost optimization, cloud security, and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives is essential.
• Cloud Service Management: Oversee the selection, integration, and management of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to ensure they meet project requirements for scalability, security, and performance.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Automation: supervise the implementation and and management of infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible to enable consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies and exit-strategies that leverage hybrid and multi-cloud environments to optimize resource utilization, ensure high availability and mitigate vendor locking.
• Container Orchestration Management: supervise the use of Kubernetes and other container orchestration platforms to manage application deployment, scaling, and operations.
• Streaming or Event Sourcing Platform Management: Oversee the deployment and management of streaming and event sourcing platforms such as Apache Kafka, or Amazon Kinesis to enable real-time data processing, ensuring reliable event-driven architectures and data pipelines are integrated within cloud environments.
• Data Spaces and Federated Data Architectures: ensure a design and management aligned with the EU data spaces concept and standards, ensuring secure and efficient data sharing across federated architectures.
• High-Availability and Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and implement plans to ensure system resilience, including strategies for backup, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Cost Optimization and Financial Operations (FinOps): Monitor and manage cloud expenditures, implementing cost-saving measures and ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
• Product Management Integration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives and deliver value to end-users.
