Infrastructure System Engineer - Deadline 16/06/25

The main task will be to contribute to Information Systems projects. The selected candidate should be able to:

Practical validation and implementation of the solutions recommended or designed by the Software or Infrastructure Architects

Design, development, tests, documentation, release control, maintenance and technical support of infrastructure software components and services matching the specifications

Proof of concept, prototyping of infrastructure solutions

Technical responsibility for infrastructure development projects

Assistance and support to Software Architects and Information System developers

Provision of technical studies, technical expertise, technical evaluations in relation with Information Systems infrastructure

Production of technical documentation

Assistance with configuration of the system for production deployment and in training administrators and users

Participation in meetings within the Commission

Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.

Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

These tasks require expertise in the following fields:

•        Good knowledge of web applications, apps back-end applications, infrastructure script, or other development area, as required to perform the specified tasks

•        Knowledge of relational database management

•        Experience in component-based and service-oriented applications development or configuration

•        Experience in managing Windows Update services and endpoint management systems

•        Knowledge of Web and network infrastructure including VPN

•        Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and docker technologies

•        Good understanding of IT security requirements and EC policies is required

•        Notions on usage of social media
