Job description

Definition of test plans and detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements.

Design and construction of test scenarios and manual test scripts.

Execution of manual tests in both functional and integration testing phases.

Reporting, logging, and follow-up of defects and incidents.

Test coordination, including collaboration with business analysts, developers, and product owners.

Participation in test review meetings and preparation of test progress reports.

Support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.

 

LEVEL OF EDUCATION : Bachelor or Master Degree

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

•      Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, regression, exploratory testing).

•      Experience with test case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow Test Management, Zephyr, …).

•      Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

•      Experience preparing test data, ideally using SQL and relational databases.

•      Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and their impact on testing cycles.

•      Awareness of test automation approaches (though not required to automate). 

•      Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports.

•      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

•      Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.

•      Autonomous. 

•      Strong organisational and time-management skills. 

•      Ability to apply high quality standards.  

•      Good problem-solving skills

 

 SPECIFIC EXPERTISE (MANDATORY)

•      Hands-on experience in the manual testing of ServiceNow applications in enterprise environments.

•      Experience with ServiceNow testing practices, including Test Management and Release cycles.

•      Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) and HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) modules.

 

The following certifications are considered an asset:

•      ServiceNow Certified System Administrator 

•      ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM (formerly ITBM)

•      ServiceNow Certified Test Management 2.0 (or equivalent practical experience)

•      ISTQB Foundation Level or higher
