Job description
Ensure that delivered or existing products, applications or services comply with technical and user needs and with specifications, user stories or cases. For existing systems, applications, innovations, and functionality changes, the service provider is expected to diagnose failures of products or services as regards to the specification standards. The service provider must also generate requisite documentation to support quality management activities in a project.
The service provider shall:
• Analyse the system under testing.
• Design the test strategy.
• Create, design and maintain test plans.
• Develop test acceptance criteria.
• Manually execute test cases across different platforms.
• Prepare and plan the test environments.
• Perform testing activities and report test results.
• Log any defects and propose potential improvements.
• Generate requisite documentation to support quality management activities.
Additional tasks which might be requested:
• Select and develop integration testing techniques to ensure the system meets requirements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on project requirements.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, system, smoke, and exploratory testing as required.
• Document test results, log defects, and prepare test summary reports.
• Contribute to defect tracking and correction procedures.
• Use, select and design testing tools to assess software quality.
• Develop standards to increase test effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Web technologies (such as ASP.NET, PHP, NodeJS) and Microsoft applications.
• Testing procedures and platforms.
• Integration/API testing.
• Quality and risk management procedures.
• Producing relevant documentation.
Level of Studies: Bachelor or Master Degree
Level : Intermediate (from 6 years of IT experience)
Deliveyr mode : Hybrid (Malta and remote)
