Job description

  1. IT support, design and troubleshooting ranging from large Server, SAN farms to complex platforms;

  2. Configuration/Troubleshooting of Virtual environments: VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon;

  3. Server management, Operating System (OS) knowledge (UNIX, Linux, Windows);

  4. Design, implementation and administration of backup and restore on solutions like VEEAM and StoreOnce;

  5. Administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;

  6. Administration of Storage systems on traditional SAN, CEPH and VSAN;

  7. Managing OCP platform in DEVOPS mode with related supporting systems like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps,

  8. Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka;

  9. Development, execution and troubleshooting of Ansible and Powershell scripts;

  10. PKI and certificate administration;

  11. Administration of monitoring systems like Nagios, Splunk;

  12. Administration of Oracle infrastructure, namely EXADATA and ZDRLA;

  13. Administration of mail servers and mail relays (postfix), anti-virus and anti-spam;

  14. Centralized deployment of software and updates.

Additional Tasks:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other

  2. protocols.

  3. Create and optimize custom scripts (JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes) to automate workflows, enhance UI

  4. functionality, and improve platform performance.

  5. Configure and manage data imports/exports, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance. • Build reusable components—such as Flow Designer sub flows and UI policies—to accelerate future development.

  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions within ServiceNow.

  7. Conduct system and integration testing using the Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure reliability and scalability.

  8. Monitor platform health, usage, and compliance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

  9. Work will include customizations and integrations of the following modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, etc...

Job requirements

Education Requirements: Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Knowledge and experience with HW management, racking, cabling, replacement, FW upgrades;

  2. HW/SW inventory and configuration management;

  3. Advanced knowledge and experience with VMWare (vSphere, vSAN, Horizon);

  4. Knowledge and experience with managing Oracle HW;

  5. Knowledge and advanced experience in Redhat, Windows OS administration of large farms;

  6. Active Directory (AD) / LDAP and Keycloak Management;

  7. Network Attached Storage (NAS) and distributed file systems;

  8. Centralized IT security policy management;

  9. Knowledge and experience in administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;
